The Maternity Ward Being a breeder of World Class German Shepherds we needed to have an area setup for birthing (whelping) our puppies. We have created our maternity ward for just that purpose. It is a clean environment with all the amenities needed for the given task. There are two pens where the mother and babies stay for six weeks needed to ensure proper health. There is hot and cold running water, a stainless steel examination table, all necessary supplies, and a refrigerator and communications system. It is a veterinarian approved facility.
