To My Breeders and Birth Parents:
My Mom and Dad thought it would be nice if I wrote to you all (Mom is helping
me with this on the computer) to let you know that I’m very happy, very healthy, and very
well-loved, and to tell you a little about my life since leaving you all.
I live in St. Petersburg. Boy, was it such a long drive the day fwent home with
Mom and Dad! I was very scared but tried really hard not to show it!
I have the run of a nice two-story house with fenced-in front and back yards to
play in. I have lots of toys to play with too! I have my own dog bed, just for me, but I get
to sleep in the real bed with everyone any time I want! My Mom and Dad take good care
of me, train me, play with me, and generally spoil me, which I like! I did have to get fixed,
which was okay I guess, since all the other animals here are too. I don’t want puppies any
way. They are too much work and I’m having too much fun to be saddled down!
I have four cats here: two boys and two girls. They sure play kinda funny, but I
do have a special buddy in Storm, the youngest cat. We play chase all the time and she
really likes me! Sometimes she even lets me sleep next to her.
I have a wonderful “Auntie”, Ondine, who is an eleven year old black and silver
German Shepherd. She looks out for me, especially when I was just a little pup. She also
teaches me stuff and makes me toe the line when I misbehave.
My very favorite though, is Cooper. He is a four year old Golden Retriever. He
loves me and we are very best friends forever!!! We do everything together. When we go
to sleep at night, we always hold paws and snuggle. He’s great!
I lead a pretty busy life helping Mom, who is an artist, and Dad, who is a writer
and I have lots to do. Mom and Dad both say that I’m very smart and that I learn fast.
Besides helping them and playing, we go for walks and sometimes even for car rides! I
even get to go to the beach!
Before you know it, I’ll be a year old on January 3rd! Soon; Christmas will be
here, my first! Cooper says that Santa will come and bring toys if I’m good. So, I’m
trying really hard to behave myself but it is so hard sometimes. Oh, I got my own
Christmas stocking with my name on it, too. Boy, oh boy, I can hardly wait!
